Well, not sure about you, but I am one of the large number of Australian's currently engrossed in the TV show The Block. The contestants are a diverse group and bring a great mix of design styles to the show and the four houses they are renovating are going to turn out great!
That said, I seem to be switching teams almost weekly as one couple seem to put something together that appeals to me more than the others. Case in point being the great dining area put together by Josh and Jenna. They created a very modern look with a real retro vibe thanks to the combination of the classic chairs with the modern timber table and that fantastic print on the back wall.
The look is all capped off with that amazing and very funky pendant light overhead!
Admittedly, this may not be to everyone's taste but I firmly believe that if shows like this can get the creative design juices flowing in the average person, then it has served it's purpose.
