Ekka 2011!

Along with several thousand other people, my family and I braved the annual crowd surfing event known as the Brisbane Ekka.  Rides, show bags, fun and games and of course the good ole Dagwood Dog made for a nice day out.


It's wonderful also to see some great classic Australian architecture being utilised so well.  The main arena of the Brisbane Exhibition Grounds sport a number of pavilions around the perimeter which are glorious examples of Queensland public architecture from yesteryear.
