Dubai Style

The tiny emirate of Dubai is one of the wealthiest regions on Earth.  The scale of the construction projects taking place here dwarf everything that has come previously... and they're only getting bigger.
When it comes to houses though (or more correctly, mansions), Dubai could use a little influx of creativity.  The monumental undertaking of the Palm Jumeriah created kilometers of ocean frontage but sadly, the mansions constructed along these waterways are the worst kind of "cookie cutter" architecture.

 

 

And with a little creativity (and some photoshop skills), the tract of copy-cat mansions can look just like the dreams in the brochure...
